Responsibilities may include-

Customer Interactions– promote positive attitudes when interacting with customers.
Dog grooming: Conduct health evaluations on dogs on the property, nail trims, baths, and maintaining a quality coat.
Social Media Creator– be able to help promote Dream A Dream on social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Dream A Dream Website, etc.
Photographer– capture the dogs playing, having fun, posing, and developing backdrops for the website.
Sales- must be able to converse with someone to gather information to ensure a puppy is finding the perfect home.
Active- this job required lots of movement. You need to be able to be active.
Office Work- answering phone calls and email inquiries and promptly getting customers’ information. File and deal with other corporations (AKC, DNA, Vet clinics, etc.)

Cross-training for the office will be applied to kennel techs.

Consult with clients to understand their pet grooming requirements and preferences.
Bathe, brush, clip, and inspect dogs in a gentle manner.
Trim dogs’ nails, clean ears, and provide any additional requested care.
Identify any issues, diseases or abnormalities and inform the pet owner.

Internships

Gaining a better understanding of social media platforms and how people respond to specific posts.
Respond to comments on social media platforms.
Create content for social media sites (looking for interaction).

Passion for animal care, training, and welfare and a genuine interest in dogs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with pets.
Demonstrated ability to handle and work with dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds safely and humanely.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

Preferred to have experience with dog training

Willing to train the right candidate in Dog Handler Academy, AKC Star Puppy, and AKC CGC Approved Evaluator
