This is a contract between Dream A Dream Dachshunds and the pet owner.

Owner agrees to pay the rate of boarding in effect on the date the pet is checked into Dream-A-Dream Dachshunds and further agrees to pay all costs and charges for special services requested and all veterinary costs incurred for the pet(s) during the time said pet(s) are in the care of the Kennel.

All dogs are boarded, handled, or otherwise cared for by the Kennel without liability on the Kennel’s part for loss or damage from disease, theft, fire, death, escape, injury, or harm to persons, other dogs, or property caused by said dog, or other unavoidable causes, provided due diligence and reasonable care have been exercised.

Owner agrees to pay the Kennel $65.00 per day, per pet for boarding services. Owner understands and agrees that pet(s) picked up after 12:00 p.m. shall be charged for a full day. Special arrangements must be made for drop-off before 7:00 a.m.or pick-up after 6:00 p.m., and an additional $100 fee will apply.

A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required for cancellation of a reservation. If a reservation is canceled or changes are made with less than 72 hours’ notice, the reservation must be paid in full for having held the space.

There are no refunds for early pick-ups, as this leaves Dream-A-Dream Dachshunds unable to fill the reserved spot.

All charges incurred by the Owner shall be payable prior to drop-off of the pet(s). Owner further agrees that pet(s) shall not leave the Kennel until all charges are paid in full.

Owner agrees that photographs taken of their pet may be used for Dream-A-Dream Dachshunds advertising and promotional purposes.

Dream-A-Dream Dachshunds shall have and is hereby granted a lien on the pet(s) for any and all unpaid charges resulting from boarding services.

If the pet(s) become ill or if the state of the animal’s health otherwise requires attention, Dream-A-Dream Dachshunds may, in its sole discretion, engage the services of a veterinarian of its choosing to administer medication or provide other necessary care. All veterinary expenses incurred shall be paid by the Owner.

The Owner states that the pet(s) are free from contagious disease and, to the Owner’s knowledge, are in good health. The Owner further states that the above-named dog(s) are not known to be vicious, have not been trained to attack, and do not possess behavioral characteristics likely to cause harm to Kennel staff, other animals, or property.

Flea & Tick Prevention Requirement

For the health and safety of all dogs in our care, Dream-A-Dream Dachshunds requires that all dogs be on a regular flea and tick preventative in order to board.

By boarding at our facility, the Owner certifies that their dog is currently on an effective flea and tick preventative prior to arrival.

If a dog is found to have fleas, ticks, or evidence of external parasites at any time during their stay, Dream-A-Dream Dachshunds is authorized to immediately administer the appropriate flea and/or tick treatment in accordance with facility protocol and/or veterinary guidance.

The Owner understands and agrees that:

• Treatment may be administered without prior notice if fleas or ticks are observed

• All costs associated with flea and/or tick treatment will be billed to the Owner

• Charges will be added to the dog’s boarding invoice and are due at pickup

This policy applies regardless of whether the Owner believes their dog was on preventative prior to arrival.

Dream-A-Dream Dachshunds’ office will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

It is understood by Dream-A-Dream Dachshunds and the Owner that all provisions of this contract shall be binding for this visit and for all subsequent visits.

Personal Property Disclaimer:
Dream-A-Dream Dachshunds is not responsible for personal items left on the premises. Please do not bring or leave leashes, dog bowls, crates, collars, or accessories when boarding your pet.
